QUOTES THAT INSPIRE US AT FPS
TO BE INSPIRED IN ALL THINGS POSSIBLE AND TO BELIEVE IN THE ACHIEVABILITY OF YOUR ASPIRATIONS
As a youngster, I was always taught that I should not be daunted by the fact that it’s possible (likely) there may be smarter children in the classroom. From early days I also was cautioned by my parents that it was hard work and persistence that carried the day and would separate winners from others.
In other words, it was excusable that there were smarter kids than me in the classroom; but it was inexcusable that there might be harder workers than me.
I always imparted these same beliefs and teachings to my own children as well.
From time immemorial, we know that inspiration and self-initiative coupled with determination and tenacity are virtues that are highly rewarding for the results they achieve.
I have had the good fortune during my entire career to be in the professional advisory business and to be devoted to serving good and accomplished people who often had challenging objectives. As I reflect back on nearly a half century of professional service, I believe I was successful in what I did because I loved what I did and I did what I loved.
I decided early on in my career that I would be a believer in the possible. I have carried that faithful belief into my services as an investment banker.
The following many quotes and those that are included elsewhere herein are the sort that have inspired me and I hope that you also find them rewarding.
